Pastor Dustin Lappe moved his family here from Gilbert, AZ to start this new church known as Cross of Christ (www.crossofchristlc.com).  Dustin grew up in rural Minnesota as a farm boy.  He studied Early Childhood Education at Concordia College in Seward, NE. After God convinced him to become a pastor, he got a Masters in Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO in May of 2002.  He served as Associate Pastor at Christ’s Greenfield Lutheran Church in Gilbert, AZ until now.  With a busy family of three young girls, he understands what it is like to be stretched in family and work life.  He longs for the simple life that God teaches about in the Bible and prays that you will journey with him as he seeks to intersect life & the love of Jesus.

Our family has really missed your family. It seems at times that our church has a large void where your inspiration and love was. It has been very hard getting past you and Trudi’s absence. Kathy found this website and it has personally helped me as your words have always been enjoyable and meaningful and with this site, it is like you are still here. Please keep up these “reflections” and God bless you and your family.

  2. Dustin, I am soo happy that Trudi told me about reflectionsofamissionary. It feels so good to read your words, it feels like you are still here. You have a God given gift–I know I have said that many times before but you do. It is so striking how He is using you to reach so many of his children. I can’t wait to tell others about this site. Not only is he using you in Aurora—look how far his reach can be. May he continue to bless you and your family.Love to all of you–Patty
